The Star is the 91-acre campus of the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters and practice facility in Frisco, Texas. The Star gives fans the opportunity to connect with the Dallas Cowboys in ways they have never imagined.

Ford Center at The Star

Ford Center at The Star is a 12,000 seat indoor multi-use events center which is a part of The Star, a 91-acre campus and home to the world headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys. Along with being the practice facility for the Dallas Cowboys, Ford Center also hosts Frisco ISD athletic events, community events and entertainment events.

Kaleidoscope Park

A place where nature meets culture and art abounds. This 6-acre dynamic, innovative arts and culture destination is currently under construction in Frisco, Texas. The Park will be home to free, year-round public programming, including films, diverse musical and dance performances, and a variety of health and recreational activities.

Located adjacent to HALL Park’s Texas Sculpture Garden, Kaleidoscope Park’s centerpiece will be the captivating work Butterfly Rest Stop - one of the largest outdoor public art installations in Texas.

Frisco Heritage Center

At this historical park, you can visit the Frisco Heritage Museum, historic buildings, a steam locomotive, a wooden caboose, and more.

Frisco Commons Park

The spirit of this park shines through its beauty and the history of its creation. The park features many unique amenities making this one of the most popular locations for large gatherings and events. This park showcases a large pavilion and two smaller pavilions, a pond, the Veterans Memorial Plaza, a paved concrete trail throughout the park and several interpretive trails. At Commons, you'll find Hope Park, a large playground system constructed by hundreds of community volunteers, that features a playground for all abilities, rubberized footing, sensory area, adaptive playground equipment, Picnic Alley, Big Kid Lot, and Tot Lot.

KidZania

KidZania is a dynamic, real-life city built to inspire, educate and empower kids through immersive learning experiences. Everything is real! When you arrive at KidZania, you will find yourself at our Airport check-in area. Kids will receive complimentary kidZos, KidZania’s currency which they can earn, spend, save or invest. Once inside, children can fight fires, pilot airplanes, act in plays, perform surgery and more - all while enhancing their social and emotional skills, and envisioning what's possible for their future. It's the perfect combination of fun and education for kidZ ages 4 to 14.

The Frisco RoughRiders are currently the Class AA affiliate of the Texas Rangers major league baseball club.

Frisco Water Park

Cool off at the Frisco Water Park, which features seven water features. Challenge a friend to a race down the Preston Plunge, conquer The Fort, or float the Lazy River, and much more. You’ll find plenty of shade and a concession stand, too.

Beavers Bend Trail (1.2 miles)

Trailhead: 5011 Legacy Dr.

This trail is located in Beavers Bend Park, extending from Beavers Bend Park to 4th Army Dr. It will eventually connect with B.F. Phillips Sports Complex and Iron Horse Trail.

Big Bluestem Trail (2.2 miles)

Trailhead: 5001 Cotton Gin Rd.

Big Bluestem Trail is a natural, unpaved trail that winds its way through the undeveloped Grand Park land. Parking and the trailhead is located off Cotton Gin Rd. between Legacy Dr. and Dallas Pkwy. The trail extends through Grand Park to Stonebrook Pkwy.

Caddo Trail (1.1 Miles)

Trailhead: 8220 Wade Blvd

The Caddo Trail is located along Stewart Creek, south of Stonebrook Pkwy. It extends through the Chapel Creek development and connects to J.C. Grant Park, adjacent to Spears Elementary School.

College Parkway Trail (1.2 Miles)

Trailhead: 12012 Shepherds Hill Dr.

This trail runs along the TXU easement from College Parkway north past Rolater Rd. to the Preston Ridge Campus of Collin College, Shawnee Trail Sports Complex, Shepherds Glen Park and north to Main St.

Cottonwood Creek Greenbelt Trail (1.2 Miles)

Trailhead: 3925 Bear Creek Ln.

Located within the Cottonwood Creek Greenbelt, this trail runs from Teel Pkwy under the Dallas North Tollway to Wakeland High School.

Dominion Trail (1.2 miles)

The 1.2-mile trail connects Hillcrest Rd. and Preston Rd. along the Panther Creek tributary. The trail has bridge crossings, gravity stone walls, handrails, benches, and a 12’ to 20’ wide concrete trail.

Frisco Springs Trail (1.1 Miles)

Trailhead: 7529 Cotton Top Trail

Located along the west and north sides of the Frisco Springs subdivision north of Eldorado Pkwy. Connects to Warren Sports

Complex to the south.

Griffin Parc Trail (1.1 Miles)

Trailhead: 11595 Lenox Ln.

Located within the Griffin Parc subdivision, this series of trails runs from Legacy Dr. west to Teel Pkwy.

Iron Horse Trail (1.2 Miles)

Trailhead: 4770 Teel Pkwy

Located at the south terminus of Teel Pkwy with limited street parking spots. This decomposed granite trail winds along 38.6 acres of restored Blackland Prairie, two ponds, a native plant habitat. From the trail, hikers can spot habitat boxes for wood ducks and mergansers that encourage breeding. The trail is currently being expanded to run from Lebanon Rd to Stonebrook Pkwy.

Lone Star Ranch Trail (1.2 Miles)

Trailhead: 5109 Hunters Creek Trail

Located within the Lone Star Ranch development, this a series of trails running between Timber Ridge Dr. and south to Lebanon Rd.

Monarch Trail (0.2 miles)

Trailhead: 14616 Speargrass Dr.

Located south of Little Ranch Rd. and east of FM 423 between Coneflower Dr. and Gray Fox Ln. in the Glen View subdivision. This trail will eventually serve as an important pedestrian connection from FM 423 to Teel Pkwy, linking the Glen View and Grayhawk communities to Monarch View Park, Billy Gene Phillips Elementary School and

Northwest Community Park.

Starwood Trail (1.3 Miles)

Trailhead: 6551 Starwood Dr.

Beginning at the trailhead and continuing through the Starwood subdivision along the creek corridor, this trail sits within a narrow public hike and bike trail easement on private property. This easement allows public access to the paved trailway only and provides the ability to travel from Lebanon Rd. north to Stonebrook Pkwy.

Taychas Trail (2.2 Miles)

Trailhead: 1230 Maltby Dr.

Located along West Rowlett Creek, this trail runs north from Limestone Quarry Park past Rolater Rd to Independence Pkwy into Harold Bacchus Community Park to Main St. The south end of the trail connects Frisco to the Six Cities Trail, which runs through Plano, McKinney, Allen, Richardson, and Garland.

Trails of West Frisco Trail (0.8 Miles)

Trailhead: 2200 Old Orchard Dr.

Located within the Trails of West Frisco development, this is a series of trails that runs from Teel Pkwy and FM 720 north along to Teel Pkwy to

Cottonwood Creek.

West Rowlett Trail (1.7 Miles)

Trailhead: Inside Harold Bacchus Community Park, 13995 Main St.

This trail runs from Main St. south through Bacchus Community Park to Independence Pkwy.
